"Play gives children a chance to practice what they are learning."
Footprints Preschool follows the admissions guidelines of Article 101218.o of the California State Community Care Licensing Handbook. Through the application process we will:
1) Determine that the child meets Footprints admissions criteria. (The criteria is identified in the Parent Handbook.)
2) Conduct one or more personal interviews with the child’s parent(s) or other authorized representative who shall provide the Footprints Director and/or Admissions Representative with information about the state of the child’s health, and physical and emotional development, and to enable our assessment of whether Footprints can meet the child’s needs.
3) Provide the child’s parent(s) or authorized representative with information about the operation of our preschool and child care center admission police and procedures, activities, services, regulations, hours and days of operation, fees, procedures to be followed in the event of a child becoming ill or injured while at our center, and procedures for conduction inspections for illness. (These are identified in the Parent Handbook.)
