 Mrs. Traci

My  name is Traci. I have worked in the field of Early Childhood Education for 25 years. I love what I do and know this is the work God has called me to do. I love how everyday is different when working with young children. I love their curiosity and wonder for the world around them. I love watching children grow, change and grasp new concepts.  As a Director, I have a hands on approach. My staff and I work as a team. I believe in relationship building and getting to know my staff and the families we serve.  I feel so blessed and honored to spend the day with your children.

My educational background is in Early Childhood Education and Business. I have an AS in Early Childhood Education, a BA in Organizational Management with a minor in Early Childhood.

I am also passionate about sharing God's love for us.  My hope is that the Good News of Jesus Christ will transform the lives of the families we serve at Footprints.

I am wife and a mother to three sons. I love my family time.

In my free time, I like to be outside in nature. I love big trees. I like to camp, hike, swim and just sit in the stillness of my God's beautiful creation.  I also enjoy cooking, reading and learning about nutrition and DIY projects.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him will not perish, but have eternal life"

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Ms. Stephanie

Little Fish Teacher

My name is Stephanie and I co-teach with Miss Kimmy in the Little Fish Class. My journey with childcare started in high school when I would volunteer at my church’s vacation Bible school and had the joy of sharing God’s love with the kids and their families. I also was a part-time nanny between work and school at the start of college. I double-majored in Psychology and Early Childhood Education, and received an associate degree for each from Diablo Valley College in 2016. I have been a preschool teacher for the past eight years and have worked with infants, four year olds and all ages in between. I plan to stay in this field while furthering my education.

My hobbies are just about anything under the sun. I love to go on adventures with friends and family to experience the different foods and cultures of new places. I’m very passionate about creative expression; I like to go thrifting and experiment with different fashion trends in relation to clothes and cosmetics. I also like photography, cooking, drawing and designing things to create with my Cricut, hand-lettering, painting and journaling. Nature and animals also hold a place in my heart. I like to go hiking, have two dogs as well as about 200 plants so I’m taking care of living beings 24/7.

Bringing my hobbies into the classroom gives me (and the children) so much joy. It sparks curiosity which leads to conversation and how they can be used in projects. I feel so blessed and thankful that I get to share my creativity as well as God’s love with the children and look forward to it every day.
